Tocklai Tea Research Institute of Tea Research Association is seeking applications from eligible candidates for the following vacant positions at Tocklai, Jorhat.
1. Research Engineer (Scientist-C) – one post for TRA Tocklai: First class Master Degree (M. Tech./M.E.) in Agricultural Engineering/Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with Ph. D. degree in either of the aforementioned subjects with specialization in farm machinery will be preferred. Minimum 3 years post Ph. D. research experience in an institute/University of repute and research publications in high impact factor journals are desirable. The position involves relocation and travelling.
Pay Band: Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay Rs.6600, PB-3 with facilities like PF, Medical, other allowance etc as per TRA Rules.
Age: Upper age limit is 38 years, relaxable by 5 years in case of highly experienced / TRA candidate.
2. Trainee Engineer (Water Technology) – one Temporary Post for TRA Tocklai: First class B.E. in Civil Engineering with sound knowledge on GIS application, computer application of mathematical models etc. Minimum 3 years experience on water management/technology is desirable. The position involves relocation and travelling.
Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month (fixed), no other allowances admissible.
Age: Upper age limit is 32 years, relaxable by 5 years in case of highly experienced / TRA candidate.
