Applications in the prescribed form of the University are invited (along with 08 nos. photocopies of applications) from the intending eligible candidates with uniformly good academic career for the following Posts in the Dibrugarh University:
(01) Librarian (one post)
Scale of pay: Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP 10,000/-
Minimum Qualification: (i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations, (ii) At least 13(thirteen) years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or 18(eighteen) years experience as a College Librarian, (iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of published work., (iv) Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archive
and Manuscript-keeping.
(02) Security Officer (contractual) (one post)
Scale of pay: Rs. 12,000-40,000+GP 5,400/-
Minimum Qualification: 01. Graduate in any discipline having experience of working in similar capacity for at least three years/Ex.Army/Para Military Force Personnel not below the rank of Subedar or retired Police Officer not below the rank of Inspector. 02. The candidate shall not be more than 50 years of age on 01/05/2014. 03. The candidate shall be physically fit and capable of handling exigencies in the University campus. 04. The candidate shall have knowledge of campus security arrangement. 05. The candidate should have experience of commanding security personnel.
(03) Technical Officer Grade I (one post)
Scale of pay: Rs. 12,000-40,000 + GP 5,400/-
Minimun Qualification: (i) M.Tech in instrumentation Engineering or in allied fields with consistently good academic record, (ii) Experience in repair, maintenance and fabrication of laboratory instruments.
